Registration will open this fall with the following registration tiers:
- Early bird registration will be $799.
- Regular registration will be $899.
- One-day registration for April 7th will be $450.
- Presenter rate for full access all three days will be $400.

When and where is the 2027 Q User Summit?
The 2027 Q User Summit will be in San Diego, California at the DoubleTree by Hilton San Diego Bayside. The event will run from Tuesday, April 6 through Thursday, April 8.
Who is the Q User Summit for?
The Q User Summit is designed for schools, districts and county offices of education that use the Q Student Information System. Sessions are helpful across many roles, including:
- Administrators
- Data and reporting staff

Whether you're new to the system or a long-time user, you'll find sessions that help you work more efficienly and get more value from our SIS.
What is included with the registration fee?
The 3-day registration and presenter registration fees include three full days of programming and networking, breakfast, lunch, and snacks each day, and access to the social event on Wednesday, which includes dinner and drinks.
The one-day registration fee includes access to all sessions, breakfast, and lunch on Wednesday, April 7th only, unless another day is requested.
Can I register multiple people from my school(s)?
Yes! Many schools send multiple team members so each person can attend sessions relevant to their role. If you're sending 5 or more people from your district, ask us about a group discount by emailing Shannon at sraines@myaequitas.com.
Is there a hotel group rate available?
We’ve secured a discounted group rate at the DoubleTree by Hilton San Diego Bayside the event venue. You can book your room using the group rate here for $183-$204 per night. Rooms are limited, so we recommend booking early!
I'm interested in being a session presenter. Who do I contact?
Presentations from our users are what drive the Q User Summit! If you're interested in presenting, you can fill out our Call for Presenters form.
If you are interested in presenting but aren't sure what topic to choose, contact Shannon Raines at sraines@myaequitas.com and we can help you brainstorm a session topic.
What airport is closest to fly into?
We recommend flying into the San Diego Airport (SAN). It is 1.3 miles from the event venue and hotel. Our venue also offers a complimentary airport shuttle to and from the hotel.
Is there parking at the venue/hotel?
Yes, there is parking at the hotel. We have a discounted event rate of $10/day for non-guests and $15/day for guests.
What are the deadlines for registering and reserving hotel rooms?
We recommend registering for the Q User Summit and booking your hotel as early as possible to secure your spot. The event registration deadline is March 29, 2027.
The discounted hotel block is available while rooms last or until the hotel cutoff date of March 15, 2027. Once the block is full or the deadline passes, the group rate may no longer be available.
What's the transfer or cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be submitted in writing to Shannon Raines at sraines@myaequitas.com. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations after December 31, 2026. After this date, you may transfer your registration to another attendee or forfeit the registration fee.
Are meals included in my registration?
Yes! Lunch, snacks, and beverages are included during the event so you can stay energized throughout the sessions. Dinner will be included as part of the social event on Wednesday, April 7th.
What if I have a dietary restriction?
If you have dietary restrictions or food allergies, please contact Shannon at sraines@myaequitas.com directly ahead of time. We'll do our best to accommodate you.
Why have ticket prices increased?
The location of this year's event, combined with rising costs in general, has led us to increase registration rates. The registration fee for attendees is calculated at a break-even price for Aequitas Solutions.
